The Roots and Friends Jam
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Live Nation partnered with Bud Light to sponsor the 3rd annual The Roots & Friends Jam event. My colleagues and I brought life to the event space with designed posters featuring Questlove and Tariq, colored lighting and decorations.
I aimed to create three unique styles for the set of posters to mimic the diverse sounds from The Roots. Each style was inspired by trendy designs seen in print ads and other media from specific decades.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
I participated in brainstorms with my team after we received the creative brief to help ideate on creative strategy for the activation and experience. The problem we tried to solve was how to entice concert goers to buy Bud Light while also providing a solid pre-concert experience. A common pain point for music shows is fans will show up to the set early, with nothing to do except wait around for the show to begin. The problem was solved by creating an experience similar to an art gallery, giving concert goers an incentive to stick around and purchase drinks. Might as well look at some cool designs while sipping Bug Light before the show!
